Description
The Estimator is responsible for is responsible for estimating tooling labor and material costs of manufacturing and engineering based on request data submitted by customer.
Essential Functions
Helps prepare estimates using company approved applications and data sheets.
Prepares cost reports and presents findings to management.
Obtains pricing from outside suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Coordinates with purchasing to ensure pricing is correct on product needed.
Inputs notes and information into database.
Prepares and maintains historical cost information.
Submits quotes to customers in a timely basis via require portals.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
