Window Installer

VIP Window Installations Ltd. is looking for Window Installers to install prefabricated windows as well as perform service work. The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities:

- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for window installation

- Install, repair and service windows. Occasional sliding door and mirror installation

- Ensure proper alignment and fit of components during installation

- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete window installation

- Inspect finished installations for quality and accuracy

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Location of work: Different construction sites in the Lower Mainland. Currently Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam and Richmond job sites

Terms of employment: Full time (40 hrs/week), 8 hrs/day, permanent position

Wage is $27.50. Salary will be reviewed after 6 months of employment and increases (if any) will be made based on the performance.

Vacation pay is 4% of the total wage.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of work experience in window installation.

• Comfortable with working at heights is a must.

• Must be willing to handle physically demanding work, carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs and work within tight deadlines

• Must be a team player, exercise good judgement and pay close attention to details

• No specific education requirement

• No specific language requirement
