Flooring Installer

We are now hiring experienced flooring installers for residential carpet, sheet vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood (glue down and nailed), kitchen backsplashes and tile flooring (no wet applications such as tub surrounds or showers)

This job opening is for full-time employment, with a benefit package available.

Flooring Installer Responsibilities:

• Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable.
• Clearing the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions.
• Preparing the work surface by applying adhesive, grouting, or other appropriate materials.
• Laying wood, carpeting, tiles, and other types of flooring per mfg. guidelines
• Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean.
• Completing the installation by applying appropriate finishes.
• Following safe procedures

Flooring Installer Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Prior 3 years minimum knowledge and experience installing flooring.
• Valid driver's license.
• Own transportation and flooring installation tools
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Ability to install all types of flooring with minimal supervision.
• Capable of independent and group work.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Thorough and efficient.
• Physically fit and able to lift large 50 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to travel throughout the designated area.

• own vehicle capable of hauling product if needed to job site, valid driver's license and auto insurance
