The Electrician II position plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across various City of Austin facilities, including EMS and Fire Stations. This position involves a range of electrical tasks, collaborating with facility managers and staff. This includes maintenance, repairs, inspections, and coordination of electrical work in City of Austin buildings. Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus three years experience in repair, testing, maintenance or installation or electrical systems or equipment.
One additional year of relevant work experience may substitute for one year of the required education with a maximum substitution of four years.
Licenses or Certifications:
Appropriate licensing may be required.
