Type of Employment: Full Time– Permanent

Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description:

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards

Assist cleaners in performing duties

Assist with training of cleaning staff

Prepare and distribute assignment sheets/work boards to cleaning staff

Receive staff feedback, follow-up and notify management of any concerns

Ensure records of daily assignments are completed, signed off and returned on time

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required

Experience: At least 1 year of commercial or residential cleaning experience or as a cleaning supervisor is required. Training will be provided.

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads.

Ability to supervise up to 2 people

Language: English is required.

Salary: $23.00 per hour, 30 – 35 hours per week.

Benefits: Uniform provided by the employer, Transportation among work locations provided by the employer. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important Information. Flexibility on schedule is required. The worker will work 5 days per week with two days off on a rotational basis. The regular work schedule is from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Work on weekends and holidays will be required depending on the business needs.
