Job Description:
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
- Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
- Plan and coordinate projects, supervise project development teams, and research new products in the field of Well Drilling, Completions and Production.
- Attend to virtual or onsite meetings with suppliers from overseas
- Prepare financial or accounting reports for the owners
- Solve issues with clients when they arise
- Check safety compliance in the worksites
- Approve requisition for construction products
- Approve suppliers’ payments
- Monitor product distribution to worksites
- Search for international or domestic suppliers and coordinate product dispatch with them
- Train staff
Requirements
- - Education: A university degree in engineering, business administration, commerce or other discipline related to oil and gas is required.
- - Experience: Over 5 years of managerial experience in goods production, utilities, transportation, construction or a related industry is required.
- - Driver’s license is required
- -Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Large workload, Frequent domestic and International travel.
- -Personal suitability: Excellent written and oral communication, Interpersonal awareness, team player, Leadership.
- -Language: English is required.
- - Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset.
- - Computer and technology knowledge: ability to read engineering drawings, productivity software, spreadsheet software, employee scheduling software, CRM Application and Email clients.
- - Ability to supervise up to 100 people
- - Economics and Accounting: Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of customs documentation is a strong asset
Salary: $71.79 hourly, 40 hours per week.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work outside of regular working hours based on clients' locations and time zone will be required. The worker will be required to travel to different locations throughout Alberta Saskatchewan and overseas for working purposes. Work on weekends and holidays may be required depending on the business needs.
