Job Description:
Evaluate and verify the educational and professional credentials of foreign tradespersons.
Ensure credentials meet the standards required by provincial regulatory bodies.
Assist candidates in understanding and meeting the requirements set by provincial bodies for credential recognition.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies to facilitate the assessment and recognition process.
Guide candidates through the application and credentialing processes.
Ensure accurate submission and processing of documentation and information.
Provide necessary support and resources for compliance.
Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
Perform data entry.
Implement new administrative procedures.
Resolve conflict situations.
Monitor and evaluate.
Attend virtual meetings with candidates.
Requirements:
Education: A college diploma or a bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a position related to office administration and managing confidential information is required.
Experience in credential assessment and compliance coordination is required due to the nature of our business. This role necessitates a deep understanding of the processes involved in evaluating foreign credentials against Canadian standards, as well as organizational skills to oversee administrative procedures and keep documentation up to date.
Knowledge of Quality and ISO standards is required to ensure the quality, consistency, and credibility of our credential assessment processes, aligning with international best practices and enhancing the recognition of foreign qualifications.
Experience working with regulatory bodies and an understanding of the certification processes in general is required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with electronic mail, MS Office (Word, Excel), and database software.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Language:
English and basic French are required. A third language is an asset.
Salary: $30.00 hourly, 30-40 hours per week
Important Information: The employee will work 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The work schedule will generally be between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM but it may vary as contact with overseas candidates is part of this position and time zone differences must be considered. Occasionally work on weekends, early in the morning and late at night from home. Overtime may be required based on the business’ needs.
