Job Description:

Set up equipment for scheduled production

Operate audio consoles or computers, tape machines, microphones and sound processing equipment at live events (conferences): set up audio/video equipment, record and capture the entire event including stationary and handheld cameras, take pictures, and record video.

Operate audio-visual or electronic equipment

Prepare and operate videotape recording and playback equipment and edit video tape after production for our video library, training resources, tutorials, case studies, and success stories.

Edit and enhance video and audio content using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects, incorporating visual effects, transitions, and graphics for impactful and educational media

Supervise other technical staff, when required

Requirements

Education: Completion of a college or other program in recording engineering, audiovisual technology or a related field is required.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience as video or audio recorder, videographer, and/or editor is required.

Specialized audio or video systems: Digital effect sound mastery units, Digital effect video mastery units.

Computer and technology knowledge: Final Cut Pro, 3D graphic software, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, MS Windows, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut, Adobe Lightroom, Canva.

Area of work experience: Commercial advertising production, Theatre or stage production, Video production.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Attention to detail; Sound discrimination; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Tight deadlines; Work under pressure.

Language requirement: English is required.

Salary: $34.07 per hour. 40 hours per week.
