Job Description:
Develop specific plans to prioritize
Organize tasks to accomplish the work
Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
Prepare and submit reports
Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
Arrange for maintenance and repair work
Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Train workers in duties and policies
Arrange training for staff
Co-ordinate, assign and review work
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Organize and maintain inventory
Establish work schedules and procedures
Supervise, plan, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products; processing purchasing transactions; coordinating production work; dispatching crews; scheduling transportation crews and routes; and other related activities
May conduct performance reviews of supervised workers
May perform the same duties as workers supervised
Requirements:
Education: : Completion of secondary education is required.
Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain, production or manufacturing management and related is an asset.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in supply chain, production or manufacturing, tracking and scheduling coordination, or as a supervisor in this field is required
Computer and technology knowledge: IBM AS/400, Electronic scheduler, Dispatch management service software, Inventory control software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Windows, Shopify
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Personal suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Proactive
Ability to supervise: 3 - 4 people
Language: English is required.
Salary: $25.00 hourly, 35 - 40 hours per week

Important information: The regular work schedule is from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., from Monday to Friday. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier, and others finish later. Overtime may be required depending on the business needs.
