Job Description:

• Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  
• Carry out administrative activities of establishment
  
• Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports such as estimates of labour and/or material costs, master format estimates, and elemental format estimates, manuals and correspondence
  
• Delegate work to office support staff
  
• Utilize quantity take-off procedures
  
• Advise on tendering procedures
  
• Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors  
  

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school is required. A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration is an asset.
  
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is required.
  
• Some bookkeeping experience is required
  
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Quick Books is required.
  
• Knowledge in ERP Systems – Syspro is required.

Salary: $22.00 to $24.00 hourly, 40 - 48 hours per week.

Important Information: The work schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and It includes 60 minutes of unpaid lunchtime and 2 paid healthy breaks of 15 minutes each. Flexibility in schedule and overtime are required depending on the business needs.
