Business Information: Sandgill Investment is a property renovation, asset acquisition and disposal, property rental and management business. We are located at Brampton, Ontario. Currently, we have different construction and building sites in various locations throughout Palmerston, including multiplex that require ongoing property management and general maintenance/repair work on a regular basis.

Work Location: 215 Norman St., Palmerston, ON, N0G 2P0 and various locations throughout Palmerston. Different construction / building sites.

Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent

Anticipated Start Date As soon as possible

Job Duties:

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Level earth to fine grade specifications

Assist in demolishing buildings

Clean and pile salvaged materials

Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Pave and rake asphalt

Maintain property

Assist to load and unload construction materials

Perform general repairs including: electrical, plumbing and carpentry and wood repairs

Requirements

Education: Not required

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Overtime required.

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Confined spaces, Dusty

Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Language: Basic level of English is required.

Salary: $27.00 hourly, 45 hours per week.

Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Overtime will be required based on the business’ needs. Work on weekends may be required. 60 minutes of paid lunch break and two 15-minute paid healthy breaks will be provided.
