Responsible for performing supervisory duties over an assigned work shift of City Facility Ambassadors or similar roles. This position is also responsible for overseeing the daily collections of parking fees. Exercises direct supervision over assigned staff.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepares schedules and shift work assignments for City Facility Ambassadors or similar roles.
Supervises, trains, and evaluates assigned employees.
Prepares daily collection reports to account for all locations during assigned shift, ensuring all transaction processes are being followed.
May conduct audits and accounts for all vehicles entering/exiting the parking facility.
Resolves customer complaints and conflicts, often speaking with and carefully listening to them to address their concerns.
Prepares materials and reports necessary for the next shift.
Makes periodic inspections to ensure proper employee performance and communicates using a two-way radio when needed.
Coordinates the opening and closing of parking locations.
Spot checks upkeep of parking facility and reports problems.
Prepares written activity reports on assigned shift.
Supervises the cleanliness of work areas to ensure it is a safe and efficient place.
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency).
One (1) year of supervisory or lead worker experience in a customer service-related field.
Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to operate a desktop and/or laptop computer.
Previous experience in parking and/or facility management
Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
