Job Description:

• Meet and consult with clients to develop and document Website requirements
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code
• Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required
• Develop Website architecture and determine hardware and software requirements
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web-site related code
• Write, modify, integrate and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications
• Confer with clients to identify and document requirements
• Contact clients in the public and private sectors

Requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, Web development or software engineering, or a related discipline OR Completion of a college program in computer science or related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a website development role is required
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting.
• Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Team player, Excellent oral and written communication.
• Computer and Technology Knowledge: Sublime Text, Xcode, Linux, JavaScript, Object-Oriented programming languages, Programming software, Programming languages, Software development, Data analysis software, API, D3, Git, Python, React Native, React.js, Cloud, Data Base Software, Servers, Web Service Design

Language: English is required

Salary: $35.70 hourly, 35 hours per week.
