Job Description:

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures.
• Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials: Help measuring, cutting and nailing wood studs of different sizes.
• Operate framing nailers, skill saws, reciprocating saws.
• Properly use speed squares, levels, and laser levels.
• Help locating and organizing the materials needed for each job.
• Drive a truck to and from the job sites.

Requirements:

• - Education: No formal education is required.
• - Experience: Experience is an asset. Training will be provided.
• - Valid Driver’s License is required.

Salary: $26.50 per hour, 40-44 hours per week.

Important Information: The employee will work 8 hours per day, normal schedule is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required depending on the project or site.
