Job Description:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook is required. If the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, then a post-secondary certificate is required. Experience in Italian cuisine and pizza cooking is an asset. However, on-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: $17.00 hourly, 40 - 48 hours per week.

Important Information: The position requires working on shifts of 7 to 9 hours per day. The shifts will be scheduled from Monday to Sunday within the business operating hours between 10 am to 01 am.
