Elite Designed Concrete Inc. is looking for Concrete Form Carpenters

 Elite Designed Concrete Inc. is looking for Concrete Form Carpenters , NOC 72310, to join our team on full-time, permanent basis.

Job duties include the following:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for company building projects

• Prepare layouts for the footprint of projects in conformance with residential and commercial building codes, using measuring tools such as measuring tapes, line levels, laser levels

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to create the formwork and/or molds into which the concrete will be placed, vibrated and/or finished

• Reinforce the concrete with materials to give concrete tensile strength

• Select, evaluate and utilize appropriate materials for a given task, selecting and using most suitable tools (as necessary)

• Build, install, assemble the formwork for the foundations of architectural concrete

• Build new forms on top of previously poured concrete 

Minimum experience/skills requirement for the job:

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Carpenter Concrete Form worker

• No minimum education requirement

• Must be willing to handle physically demanding work, carry heavy loads and work within tight deadlines

• Must be a team player, exercise good judgement and pay close attention to details

Location of work: You will report to our office located at 70 Great Gulf Drive, Suite #62, Vaughan, Ontario L4K 0K7 and will begin each working day at the yard location at 16 Harlech Ct, Thornhill, Ontario L3T 6L5. Routine daily travel is required to visit customer project sites in the Greater Toronto Area.
