Job Description:

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture,
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries,
• Stock linen closet,
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances,
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas,
• Handle and report lost and found items,
• Provide basic information on facilities,
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean BBQ’s areas
• Do laundry
• Perform minor outdoor maintenance

Requirements:

• Education: No education is required
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Having a Driver’s license is an asset
• Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods of time, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail,
• Personal suitability: Initiative, Accurate, Judgement, Effective interpersonal skills, Team player and Organized.
• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg.
• Language: Basic level of English is required.

Salary: $17 hourly, 37.5- 50 hours per week.

covered if workers need to relocate. Uniforms will be provided.

Important Information: Employees will work 5 days per week. The employees’ workday shall begin at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. However, flexibility on schedule is required depending on the business needs, including weekend work and overtime as needed. Employees shall have 30 minutes of unpaid lunchtime and two healthy breaks of 15 minutes each, which are paid.
