Job Description:

Check materials and products for quality defects

Sort, count, pack, crate and package materials and products

Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers

Perform other labouring and elemental activities

Clean machines and immediate work areas

Send boxes down conveyor for sealing

Requirements:

-Education: No formal education is required.

-Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Training will be provided

Salary: As per the collective agreement, base rate of $ 22.34 hourly ($23.49 after probation) + a 12-hour shift premium of $0.30 per hour + a Night Shift Premium of $1.09 per hour. An average work week of 42 hours per week.

Important Information: We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Flexibility in schedule is required. The employees will work 12 hours per day, on a rotational 4 days on, 4 days off, basis. The shifts are always worked in a pattern of 2 days followed by 2 nights (8 am to 8 pm for days and from 8 pm to 8 am for nights). This is an eight-week cycle which averages 42 hours per week. Overtime may be needed depending on the business needs.
