Construction Labourer

Job Duties:

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist heavy equipment operators
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Requirements

Education: Not required

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Working under various weather conditions.

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads

Language: Basic level of English is required

Salary: $22.00 hourly, 40 hours per week

Important Information: The worker will work 8-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs and weather conditions. Work on weekends, occasional 8-hour night shifts, and overtime may be required. **We guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week regardless of the weather conditions.
