Load To Ride Transportation

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Description

The Class A Mechanics at Load To Ride Transportation (a subsidiary of R&R Express) work to help ensure that we have a safe fleet on the road. This position will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles and assets. They will also help train and develop our Class B Mechanics.
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all assets
Repair, diagnose, and troubleshoot engine systems including diesel exhaust (DEF) systems, diesel particulate (DPF) systems, transmission, differential, HVAC, electrical, hydraulic
Perform repairs on chassis, driveline, brakes, steering, cooling system
Utilize the shop computer for diagnostic and troubleshooting
Perform DOT inspections on assets
Supervise Class B Mechanics
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Prior mechanic experience required, preferably heavy duty and/or diesel vehicles
Computer diagnostics experience required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Current driver’s license and acceptable MVR
English-language proficiency
Authorized to work in the US
Ability to work 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday or Wednesday-Sunday, with some on-call availability
