Job Description:

Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.

Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays

Bake mixed dough and batters

Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Draw up production schedules

Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

Prepare special orders

Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods

Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

Operate machinery

Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the field is required. In the event that the candidates do not meet the 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate will be required to qualify.

Salary: $18.00 hourly, 37.5 hours per week

Important Information: The worker will be required to work 7.5 hours per day scheduled between 8 am - 19:30 pm from Monday to Sunday. Work weekends and stat holidays is required. The chosen candidate will be given two consecutive days off in a row but at times may have split days off.
