Required to perform horticulture practices to maintain and care for the large collection of trees, shrubs, groundcovers, flowers, and ornamental plants. Assists management in providing knowledge of best practices for landscaping and overall appearance of all KCAB owned assets. Required to operate gasoline and large diesel powered machinery in a safe and appropriate manner. Other specific duties include heavy equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, airfield signage and lighting, pavement repair and maintenance; year-around airfield maintenance, including garages, parking areas and pavements.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Certificate or Associates degree in Horticulture or similar major and three years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
