Summary: Provide support to the estimating and sales team. Act as a point of reference for colleagues and customers alike by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information. Facilitate the team’s activities to maximize performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.

Duties:

Receive bid request information, plans and specifications primarily via e-mail and entering job information into the customer database.
Coordinate estimating/sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material.
Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports.
Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
Monitor the team’s progress and propose improvements and ideas.
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
Ensure adherence to laws and policies.
Preparation of electronic reports using MS Excel and distributing reports to Estimating Manager.
Other periodic duties assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associate Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
Two years of progressive work experience in a related field required.
Experience as a Sales Coordinator or similar administrative position is desirable.
Proven experience in sales.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Well-organized with strong time management skills and the ability to follow-though independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Customer service oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
