Business information: Maxi Maid Services is a locally owned and operated cleaning company serving Kelowna, West Kelowna and Lake Country regions. We have been in business in the Okanagan region for over 31 years, and we are the largest residential and commercial cleaning company in the Okanagan region. Our primary focus is Maid Service, but Maxi Maid has grown significantly on the Janitorial side due to demand.

Work Location: Different locations throughout the Okanagan Region, depending on our clients' needs.

Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description:
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Dust furniture
Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Clean and disinfect elevators
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows, walls and ceilings
Drive to different job locations to perform job duties
Qualifications
Requirements:
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience: Experience is an asset. We will train.
A driver’s license is required to get to different job locations to perform job duties.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Personal suitability: Initiative, Values and ethics, Flexibility, Team player, Dependability, Reliability, Organized.
Language: Basic level of English is required
Salary: $18.00 per hour, 30-40 hours per week.
Benefits: Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Vehicle supplied by the employer. Gratuities.
Important Information:
Work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; working hours will fluctuate each day between 6-8 hours. Flexibility in schedule is required to fulfill clients’ requests. Some weekend work and overtime may be required.
