Job Description

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites 

Requirements

• Education: No formal education is required
• Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks

• Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Language: Basic level of English is required.

Salary: $23.25 - $25.00 Hourly, 40 – 44 hours per week.

Benefits: Transportation from and to work locations will be provided. Transportation costs covered if workers need to relocate.

Important information: The work schedule will be a regular 5-day week, Monday to Friday. The employee’s workday will begin at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. It includes 60 minutes of unpaid lunchtime and 2 healthy breaks of 15 minutes each which are paid. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days, the workers will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business' needs. Overtime and weekend work may be required. **We guarantee 30 hours of work during the winter**
