Job Description:

• Assist with landscape constructions
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Lay sod or seed
• Rake and collect refuse
• Excavate for hardscapes
• Install granular materials
• Grade
• Lay patios, walkway, pool surrounds
• Install retaining walls, garden walls, etc.
• Install low voltage lighting
• Remove snow during winter

Requirements:

• - Education: No formal education is required
• - Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
• - Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
• - Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Noisy, Dusty, Hot
• - Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Client focus, Team player, Dependability
• - Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• - Language: Basic English skills are required

Salary: $18.50 hourly, 40 hours per week

Benefits: Transportation costs covered if the worker needs to relocate. Accommodation is available at a cost. Transportation costs to and from work locations are provided.

Important Information:

The position requires working 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime may be required depending on the business needs.
