Facilities Technician

5pm-5am

At ADVICS we have openings in our Facilities Engineering department. At ADVICS, our facilities department has a unique opportunity to learn and expand their knowledge as we continue to grow. Successful facilities techs will enjoy this highly visible position that can showcase their talents. Specific requirements of the position include:

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment: electrical, piping, mechanical, fire protection, HVAC, roofing and floors
• Direct contractors as necessary
• Follow and make equipment operating procedures as well as train others on the procedures
• Source, order, and repair or replace parts
• Special project work

Successful candidates will possess:

• Associates degree or technical school certificate and 1 to 3 years related experience
• Proficient with reading technical drawings, HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, air compressors, piping, power distribution;
• Familiar with building construction and building control systems.
• Strong sense of ownership
• Ability to work in a team environment
