Description

Hard Chrome Plater for Western Hard Chrome

We are currently seeking a " Hard Chrome Plater" to join our team.

As a Hard Chrome Plater, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Studying engineering drawings and blueprints
Determining required materials
Masking and blasting parts to prepare for chrome tanks
Jigging parts and putting them in chrome tanks
Determining and preparing velocity and anodes for chrome tanks
Determining plating time as per customer specifications
Performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance for chrome tanks
Utilizing micrometres and bore gauges
Keeping working areas clean and organized

Qualifications

The successful candidate possesses the following skills and competencies:

1+ year of experience working with Hydrometer, Stalagmometer and titration apparatus
Secondary School Diploma
Mechanical engineering technology or chemistry background is an asset
Computer competent
Able to work in hot environments
Able to work independently and within a team environment
Reliable with a good attendance record
Exceptional time management
Able to work possible overtime
Strong work ethic and willing to take initiative
Must be self-motivated with a willingness and desire to learn job specific skills
Safety oriented
Speaks English
