Under general supervision, is responsible for performing plumbing inspection and enforcement work in securing and maintain compliance with rules and regulations. Exercises functional supervision over assigned staff.

Work Hours
6:45 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Wednesday - Saturday
High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency)
Six (6) years of experience as a Journey Level Plumber or Plumbing Inspector
Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License
Valid Journeyman Plumber license issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners
Must obtain Plumbing Inspector license issued by Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners within six (6) months of employment
Must obtain International Code Council (ICC) certification as a Plumbing Inspector within eighteen (18) months of employment
