Under general supervision, is responsible for applying technical expertise in diagnosing malfunctions or operational irregularities with traffic signal, school flasher, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and communications equipment. Troubleshoots, repairs, upgrades, and maintains traffic signal equipment. Working conditions are inside and outside with exposure to temperature variations, damp/wet surfaces, high noise areas, dust, and unfavorable fumes and vapors. May exercise functional supervision over assigned staff.
**This position will not require a CDL license and is not eligible for Safety Incentive Pay.**

Work Hours
Hours will vary between 5:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. 7 days a week; weekends and evening shifts on a rotational basis throughout the year.
