Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent

Job Duties:

• Move tools, equipment, and other materials
• Hold stakes during surveying activities
• Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Assist in operation, repair, and maintenance

Requirements:

Education: Some secondary school may be required

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided

Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for Extended periods, Manual dexterity

Personal suitability: Team player, Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Reliability, Judgement, Organized.

Language: Basic English is required

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly, 30-40 hours per week

Benefits: transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. Uniforms at no cost are provided.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. Work schedule is 5 days per week. Shift is usually from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but it may vary depending on our business’ needs. Overtime might be required.
