HVAC Mechanic

The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, and other components. Other responsibilities include operating and performing general maintenance on numerous heating and air-conditioning systems, ventilation equipment involving computerized Building Automation Systems, and other related mechanical equipment for performance efficiency and calibration.

Qualifications:

Required: 

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 - 4 years mechanics, installation or related experience

Valid Class D Driver License

Preferred:

Associate's Degree in a related field

Military comparable or similar training

4 - 7 years mechanics, installation or related experience

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification

American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certification
