Job Description:
Add or replace transmission fluids
Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks or heavy equipment
Replace oil, air and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks and heavy equipment
Perform oil, tire, air filter and cabin filter change
Perform wiper replacement, transmission and differential oil change
Transfer case oil change
Qualifications
Requirements:
-Education: Some secondary school is required.
-Experience: Experience is a strong asset. On-the-job training is provided.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Manual dexterity, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Judgement, Team player, Initiative, Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized
Work site environment: Noisy, Odours, Dirty
Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Language: English is required.
Salary: $16.55 per hour, 51 hours per week
Benefits: Gratuities. The employer pays half of the group insurance benefits (Disability insurance, Medical and dental benefits, life insurance benefits, vision care benefits and dental insurance). Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.
Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. This position requires working from Monday to Saturday as follows:
Monday to Wednesday from 8 am to 5 pm
Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm
Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm
The schedule may vary based on the business needs. Overtime is required. Sundays are off.
