JOB DETAILS

Workplace information: On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Salary: $37.50 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.

• Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads.

• Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms.

• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems.

CREDENTIALS

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION

Computer and technology knowledge: Estimating packages, Database, Xactimate

Type of experience: Residential construction

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available, Valid driver's licence, Vehicle supplied by employer

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sound discrimination, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
