Job Description:

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Clean kitchen and work areas

Order supplies and equipment

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

May drive to other locations for requisition of food if needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required

Having a driver’s license is a strong asset.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Overtime required

Language: English is required

Salary: $16.55 hourly, 35 - 48 hours per week.

Benefits: Gratuities, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required. Workers will work either 5 or 6 days per week depending on the business needs. Workers will rotate between the day shift (from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and the evening shift (from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM). We are open 7 days a week, so the schedule will change on a weekly basis. Work on holidays and weekends is required. Overtime is required depending on the business needs.
