Business information: Lex Metal is a full-service custom metal fabricator. We specialize in the fabrication and installation of miscellaneous metals, structural steel, AESS and joist reinforcement. We design, fabricate and install structural and miscellaneous metal. We are contracted by General Contractors (for projects such as steel beams, columns, joists, stairs, handrails, and railings), then design steel connections and provide blueprints. We fabricate (cut, fit and weld) these items, ship them to the site and install them.

Job Description

Manage accounts receivable

Manage accounts payable

Prepare bank reconciliations

Review on the behaviour with regard to deposits and withdrawals, overdraws, defaults, dishonoured payments and spending patterns

Prepare payroll

Invoice clients

Collect payments from debtors

Store, update and retrieve financial data

Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems

Perform general office duties

Organize and maintain inventory

Manage cash

Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Communicate with clients, suppliers and lenders

Assist executives to gather data and information to prepare business plans and proposal for

budget, forecast and analyze

Work with Project Managers to prepare project budgeting, costing, billing and collection

Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required.

Experience: At least 6 months of experience as an accounting clerk or a related position are required.

Computer and technology knowledge: Spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Office.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail.

Salary: $25.00 hourly, 40 – 44 hours per week. Wage may be increased based on performance and productivity level.

Benefits: Group benefits (medical and dental insurance) after 3-month probationary period. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important information: The work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Flexibility in schedule is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
