Description
Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, Laser Alignment professional for industrial rotating equipment. Primary responsibilities include assembly/dis-assembly of multistage centrifugal blowers (Gardner Denver, Hoffman, Lamson, HSI, etc), cleaning and preparation of parts, balancing of rotating assemblies, laser alignment of motor to blower/pump, test run of unit. This is a get your hands dirty position, not for the guy who wants to sit at a desk.
Qualifications
3-10 years experience in the assembly of rotating equipment, and/or laser alignment, rigging, testing of rotating equipment. Candidate should be a person who has an eye for detail and is safety aware. The ability to work well with other people and is cooperative. Experience using calipers, micrometers and outer measuring tools. Experience using email and internet. Willingness to work OT as required.
