Job Description:

Evaluate daily operations

Monitor staff performance

Plan and organize daily operations

Recruit staff

Set staff work schedules

Supervise staff

Train staff

Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

Cost products and services

Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations

Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities

Participate in marketing plans and implementation

Leading/instructing individuals

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Provide customer service

Manage events

Consult with clients regarding weddings, caterings, functions

Create event invoices

Assist in organizing ingredients, inventory, efficient flow of events

Organize outside catering and manage kitchen staff to ensure timing is met to expectations.

Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school OR other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.

Experience: Over 5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.

Ability to supervise at least 5 workers.

Salary: $38.00 hourly, 40 hours per week

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule is 8 hours per day, scheduled between 11:00 am and 12:00 am. Work on weekends and holidays will be required.
