Job Description:

Load, unload and transport construction materials

Perform pre-operational inspection

Perform routine maintenance work

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

Assist with insulation projects as needed

Assist insulation installers during spray foam application on construction sites under direct supervision

Prepare, stage, and transport insulation materials, tools, and equipment to work areas

Prepare work surfaces and assist in setting up insulation equipment as required

Support installation activities by holding, positioning, and handling materials as directed by tradesperson

Assist with placement and adjustment of fiberglass insulation under supervision

Clean work areas and remove debris before, during, and after insulation work to maintain site safety

Drive pickup truck

Requirements:

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is needed.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

A valid driver’s license (Class 5) is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Language: English is required.

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Travel expenses paid by the employer if the worker needs to relocate. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the employer.

Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The regular work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
