Job Description:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Clean kitchen and work areas
May set up and oversee buffets
Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate is required
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability: Client focus, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Time management
Language: English is required
Salary: $21.91 hourly, 40 – 44 hours per week.

Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The worker will work 8-hour shifts that will be scheduled within the business operating hours, Monday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The worker will be entitled to a fifteen (15)-minute rest period for every three (3) hours scheduled. Such rest period shall be taken during the three (3)-hour period. Work on weekends may be required depending on business needs.
