Under general supervision, is responsible for performing HVAC inspection work and enforcing compliance for new construction, remodeling, alterations, repairs, moving, or demolition of structures to ensure compliance with the City adopted building codes, zoning ordinances, and other related City ordinances. Exercises no supervision.

Work Hours
7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency)
Four (4) years of experience in the installation, service, repair, or inspection of heating and air conditioning equipment
Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License
Must possess an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Certification issued by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation
Must obtain International Code Council (ICC) certification as a Mechanical Inspector within one (1) year of employment
