Job duties:

Assist in demolishing buildings; Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites: Perform demolition, removal, and replacement of damaged materials

Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs: Complete construction and restoration tasks including drywall, framing, and finishing.

Clean and pile salvaged materials: Assist with water damage remediation and disaster cleanup

Set up, monitor, and maintain drying and dehumidification equipment

Load, unload, and transport tools and materials

Perform routine maintenance work

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite

Follow company procedures, safety policies, and job instructions

Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

Operate company vehicles and equipment when authorized

Requirements:

-Education: No required.

-Experience: At least 7 months of experience as a general construction labourer is required.

-Ability to travel for extended periods of time within the province in Saskatchewan is required.

-Ability to safely lift, operate heavy tools and equipment is required.

-Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.

-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Hand-eye co-ordination; Repetitive tasks; Sitting; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods of time; Ability to work independently.

-Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

-Worksite environment: Outdoors, Noisy, Crawlspaces, Dusty, Hot, At heights, Confined spaces, Cold.

-Weight Handling: Must be able to handle a minimum of (50 – 75 lbs)

-Language: English is required.

Wage: $24.00 - $25.00 hourly; 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate. The company will cover accommodation expenses for overnight work-related stays, up to $50 per day, depending on the travel terms.

Important Information: The regular work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility with the schedule is required. Some travel assignments will involve overnight stays, usually up to one week at a time. Additionally, evening, weekend, and emergency work may be required. When modified work hours are necessary the work day hours will be extended up to and including 11:00pm.
