Job Description:

Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

Bake mixed dough and batters

Prepare special orders

Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods

Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

Operate machinery

Organize and maintain inventory

Prepare and place various toppings on specialty baked items

Clean and maintain work area, utensils, and equipment

Detect and ensure the disposition of spoiled food, and/or other unusual conditions

Review and complete production sheets

Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure

Personal suitability: Accurate, Judgement, Reliability, Team player, Initiative, Organized

Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Language: English is required.

Salary: $17.50 hourly, 35 hours per week.

Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, from 6:00 PM to 1:30 AM. Work on Sunday may be required depending on the business needs.
