Basis: Contract (1099 basis)
Rate: $40/hour
Hours: Average of 15-20 hours per week, with fluctuations. Attendance at certain scheduled meetings is expected. Opportunities to increase hours over time, commensurate with performance.
Terms: Start date as soon as practicable, 1 year renewable
Reports to: Site Director
Location: Hybrid preferred. At least one day per week on campus.
Duties
Clerical: Basic and advanced clerical tasks delegated by the Site Director, including note-taking, emailing, phone calls, research, billing, applications, payments, creation of reports and guides, visual documentation, scheduling, and document cross-referencing.
Maintenance Administration: Scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors and site team staff who are responsible for facilities maintenance, landscaping, and housekeeping.
New Construction Administration: Research, advising, and coordination for site and facilities construction projects, including but not limited to new buildings, renovations, roadways, landscaping, trade partner relationships, product sourcing, trail system, furnishings, design, and solar installation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
2+ years administrative experience in construction or facilities management
Experience managing subcontractors
Refined aesthetic and experience advising on design decisions
Fluency in google suites (gmail, google docs, google sheets)
Proficiency in Google Sketchup or equivalent (preferred)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptionally organized and systems-minded
Able to deduce details from high-level instruction and work independently
Flexible and adaptable in workflow - can integrate emerging priorities as they arise
Emotional maturity, interpersonal skills, and warm disposition
Zest, efficiency, and diligence applied to work tasks
Able to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class, and religion
