Job Description
Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
Evaluate daily operations
Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Recruit staff
Set staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Train staff
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Conduct performance reviews
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Manage events at the restaurant or at other locations
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary school OR other programs related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required. If the candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required.
We specifically need a restaurant manager with Thai cuisine experience due to the nature of our business.

Computer and technology programs: MS Excel, MS Word, Point of sale system.
Ability to supervise: 5 – 8 people
Language: English is required
Salary: $36.00 per hour, 40 – 44 hours per week.
Benefits: One free meal every working day. Accommodation provided at a cost. Transportation is provided by the employer to attend food events. Meals and tips are provided for working on events.
Important information: Flexibility in schedule is required to attend food events. The regular work schedule will be from 40 to 44 hours per week, from Wednesday to Monday between 11:30 AM and 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM. Tuesdays off. The shifts usually last between 6 to 8 hours. Overtime and work on holidays may be required depending on the business needs.
