Job Description:
Estimate repair cost based on damage examination report
Professionalism in customer service
Clean and maintain work space
File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
Apply primers and repaint surfaces
Mix paint, blend and match colors
Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted
Move vehicles around the facility
Qualifications
Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Experience: At least 2 year of experience as an automotive body painter is required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye coordination, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team Player, Efficient interpersonal skills
Language: English is required
Driver’s license type G is required
Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty.
Salary: $29.00 hourly, 40 hours per week.
