Job Duties:
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
Mix, pour and spread materials
Assist heavy equipment operators
Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Pave and rake asphalt
Assist in demolishing buildings
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Read and interpret blueprints
Perform basic and controlled interior demolition (removal of drywall, flooring, tiles, and existing finishes).
Prepare work areas for new installations by ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Assist with the installation of drywall panels on walls and ceilings.
Support taping, mudding, and basic sanding under supervision.
Prepare drywall surfaces for painting.
Assist with the installation of laminate, vinyl (LVP), and ceramic flooring.
Prepare subfloors through cleaning, basic leveling, and underlayment installation.
Cut and adjust materials according to supervisor instructions.
Assist with tile installation on floors and walls (bathrooms, kitchens, backsplashes).
Prepare surfaces, mix adhesives, and apply grout under supervision.
Handle and cut tiles using basic tools.
Assist with the installation of interior doors, trims, baseboards, and moldings.
Support the installation of cabinets and accessories.
Perform minor adjustments and finishing clean-up.
Prepare surfaces for painting (minor patching, sanding, and cleaning).
Perform final site cleaning upon project completion.
Use basic hand and power tools (drill, hammer, hand saw, sander).
Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
May drive to and from work locations
Requirements
Education: Some secondary education is required
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a general construction labourer are required.
Driver’s license is required.

Salary: $27.00 hourly, 30 – 44 hours per week

Important Information: The candidate will work from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 10-minute paid healthy breaks. Flexibility in the schedule is required, as some days may start earlier and others may finish later, depending on the business needs and weather conditions. Work on weekends (Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM) may eventually be required, depending on the business needs. **We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week, regardless of the weather conditions.
