Business Information: The Guri Group Inc. was established in 2009 as a subcontractor in both Residential & Commercial construction projects specializing in stone, ceramic and porcelain tile custom installations, including several other divisions such as hardwood flooring, concrete, drywall, framing and painting. The Guri Group Inc. has completed several projects in the residential, commercial, and institutional markets within the City of Toronto and surrounding area. Our previous projects include both new construction and repair/restorations.
Business Location: 750 Oakdale Road, Unit #57, North York, ON M3N 2Z4
Work Location: Same as above, and various clients’ locations across the Greater Toronto Area, based on the project site.

Job Description:
Establish and implement policies and procedures
Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer
Manage contracts
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
Answer electronic enquiries
Oversee the preparation of reports
Respond to employee questions and complaints
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
Oversee payroll administration
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents: Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, brochures, publications, reports and related material from machine dictation and handwritten copy
Perform data entry
Maintain and manage digital database
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
Conduct performance reviews
Assist management at clients’ project sites for activities such as project meetings, contract closures, and other related tasks
May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
May supervise and train office staff in procedures and in use of current software
May arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school is required.
Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries OR previous clerical experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in office administration including maintenance of inventory, proofreading and preparation of statements and reports is required.
Supervision (if required): 1 to 2 people

Salary: $25.00 hourly, 40 - 44 hours per week.
