Job Duties:

• Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs
• Develop computer applications for machines and processes
• Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
• Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Perform site inspection to monitor progress and implementation of programs and processes
• Improve or upgrade computer applications in metal manufacturing if needed
• Use SolidWorks and Epicor ERP to design project layouts
• Assist to meetings with clients to identify their requirements and projects’ specifications

Requirements

• Education: Completion of a one- or two-year college program in industrial engineering technology or in a related discipline is required
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as Mechanical or Industrial engineer is required.
• Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Personal suitability: Excellent written and oral communication, Efficient interpersonal skills, Initiative, Accurate, Judgement, Team player, Organized.
• Computer skills: SolidWorks and Epicor ERP

Language: English is required.

Salary: $30.00 hourly, 44 - 47 hours per week

Important Information: Work schedule is from Monday to Thursdays, from 7:00 am to 4:40 pm. and on Fridays from 7:00 am to 3:15 pm. Work on weekends and overtime may be required.
