Facilities Maintenance (FM) Area 1 is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Master Electrician. This position will lead, train and mentor lower level electricians as well as PM and CM electrical equipment for over 2.5 million square feet of real-estate on main campus, North and South Campus, Athletics, and facilities outside of campus. This position will also work with other trades to complete projects in a safe and timely manner, as well as work with management to keep informed of all electrical projects within the department.

High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Possession of a current New Mexico Electrical Journeyman License (EE98J) and a current second New Mexico Electrical Journeyman License.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
CPR and First Aid certification must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
